From afar, the Tropical Conservatory of the Botanics looks like some sick hallucination. Great knots of vegetation hang out of the wide, blackened cracks of the thick greenhouse glass - to fall crazily in its unhindered growth.
Inside, every surface has given way to plant life - the hardier plants that could survive the piercing of their little tropical bubble, that is. They have exploded in growth exponentially, covering the walls, roof and most of the floor. A machete is certainly in order for carving a path in some areas.
There may be some interest in the conservatory for those of a "alternative medecine" mindset, but there is also numerous other points of interest with the building - to those of a less linear mindset.
