History:
Bradley grew up in Chicago with his sister Jane and his older brother Matthew. The family of five had settled down in the city hoping to make a living. His mother Susan and his father Chris both worked full time jobs. Susan being a nurse while his father worked as a barrister.
The family became wealthy very fast in the big city and all three of the children passed school and went onto further education. Bradley however didn't like the extra years learning about law and dropped out at the start of his second year.
Joining the Chicago police force Bradley first of all started as a normal officer, patrolling the streets and trying to keep them clean.
This however didn't last for long soon enough he moved departments and joined the cities detectives.
His ideas of him becoming a chief detective in a major case was utterly destroyed when the new police chief moved everyone around. Bradley was sent back to being a patrol man within six months.
Bradely decided it was time to move, both of his siblings were in well payed jobs while he was stuck as a patrol man once again.
So he moved away from the Chicago and ended up where here.
Deciding that he still wanted to be a detective, Bradley started up his own business as a private eye.
Business was good, he seemed to have a steady pay check at the end of the month and slowly he was moving up in the world. He had more cases, although some of them were a little daft.
Bradley finally stumbled across one that would change him.
The case started with a violent divorce in which the mother won custody over the child. The father obviously was disgruntled and decided to take the child even though the mother declined all visits.
Bradley was on that case for almost seven months finding evidence of what the father had done. Slowly over time the private eye lost sleep and the motivation to do anything except find the missing girl.
Finally the man had the evidence he needed, the eleven year old was going to a private school paid by her father. Now thats all the private eye needed to do was tell the police and inform the mother and he would get a nice reward. If only things were that simple.
Bradley soon discovered the mother had drug and alcohol problems would no doubt make her daughters future a lot more grim. Her father at least seemed to be doing a lot for his daughter but if he wanted to get paid then he needed to inform the small girls mother.
Finally money had won the day and the private eye informed both the police and the mother. Getting paid Bradley left the family behind but he soon found out that the girl witnessed her mother dying of an overdose. Bradley blamed himself for the mental scare the daughter would have for the rest of her life.
Time however is a healer and before the incident, Bradley slowly recovered and stopped blaming himself although deep down that part of his past would haunt him until the day of the incident.
During the initial phase of the incident, Bradley was on his own looking for a new job but now because of whatever the occurrence was, The private eye finds himself more isolated.
He knows people are out there, he knows there survivors but the grim reality is. Can you really trust anyone when it comes to survival?
